Sperm Bank

A viable option for men with low-quality sperm samples and for single women
who wish to become mothers.

When should you consider using a Sperm Bank?

Using a Sperm Bank is recommended when a man has low-quality semen or a risk of transmitting a genetic defect. It is also an option for single women who wish to become mothers or those in the LGBTQ+ community.

How are donors selected?

All semen donors must meet the following requirements:

  • Be between 18 and 30 years old.
  • Be in good physical and mental health.
  • Have no genetic, hereditary, or infectious diseases that could be transmitted to offspring.

Once the semen sample is received, it is stored in a bank and quarantined for 6 months to control the risk of disease transmission. After this period, tests are repeated to ensure the donor is not in the early stages of an infection.
